Data centers are splitting organized labor and Kansas Democrats, contributing to a historical shift benefiting Republicans.
The split is most evident in the Kansas governor’s race, where prominent union leader Ty Dragoo announced his union’s endorsement of Senate President Ty Masterson, R-Andover, over Sen. Cindy Holscher, D-Overland Park.
