Arisa Health, a Springdale-based behavioral healthcare system, said its chief financial officer, Keith Faught, recently left the role and has joined another organization. The nonprofit has promoted Brian Lutz, vice president of accounting, to succeed him.
Faught spent about four years as chief financial officer. Arisa Health has selected Lutz to replace Faught as chief financial officer, according to a Friday (Aug. 28) news release. The transition has already taken place.
Lutz, who resides in central Arkansas, joined Arisa Health in 2020, when the nonprofit was formed through a merger with multiple companies, including Counseling Associates Inc. He started in community-based behavioral health at Counseling Associates and served there as an accountant and chief financial officer, the release shows.
Before he started working in the nonprofit sector, Lutz was an assistant manager for Walmart and worked in Kentucky, Tennessee and Arkansas. According to the release, Lutz “has been instrumental in bringing automation, standardization, and efficiency through more advanced technologies and software solutions.” He also has experience in and understands nonprofit finances and accounting, including grant management, auditing, compliance and risk management, and financial reporting.
“Brian brings a firm commitment to the mission of Arisa Health and those we serve,” said Dr. Laura Tyler, CEO of Arisa Health. “His strategic focus coupled with his technical expertise, reliance on data analytics and leadership acumen will be instrumental in moving us forward as we work together to be good stewards of resources – ultimately focused on community impact.”
Arisa Health has 1,000 employees and decades of experience in providing mental health and substance use services.
